UNF will observe the Domestic Violence Awareness Month with 'Take Back the Night'!
The Women's Center at the University of Florida (UNF) will be observing the Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2011 with an event called: Take Back the Night on October 4, 2011 at 7pm. It's actually free of cost!
The Domestic Violence Awareness Month event will begin with a march at the Student Union and it will end with a candle lightning ceremony and a speak-out session. As some of you know, my upcoming novel is dedicated to also raise domestic violence awareness! The purpose of the Take Back the Night Domestic Violence Awareness Month event is to bring everyone together in an effort to raise domestic violence awareness, honor domestic violence survivors, and to give a chance to those who want to speak out and share their story.
