Did Minka Kelly and her stripper mom get along well? As many of you know, I've been bringing as many as stripper stories up as I possibly can on this blog because we're going to be able to read a lot about it when the novel comes out! Now, when it comes to a Minka Kelly, during an interview with Cosmopolitan, she revealed that her mom became a stripper and worked with other jobs simultaneously so they could make ends meet.

The Friday Night Lights star described her mom as a gorgeous woman, but according tothe Daily Mail, Minka Kelly's mom Maureen Kelly used to try to talk her into skipping school so they could go shopping! For that and other reasons, Minka Kelly describes her relationship with her mom to be quite complicated. Maureen Kelly died three years ago of colon cancer; however, Minka Kelly was with her mom until her last breath. Now what do you think about relationships with parents that are strippers and their children? Are they always complicated?

The murder of Shannon Washington brought the lgbt community together for a gathering last night in an effort to create awareness on same sex domestic violence. As many of you know, domestic violence is a subject touched in the novel. Starquineshia Palmer, 20. is being charged with first degree murder in the case of Shannon Washington.

How far would you go helping your son win a custody battle? This is how  Maria Garcia, 43, helped her son win his custody battle, or the way she actually thought that she would. As most of you now, we will all be able to experience what's it like going through a painful custody battle when reading Life is Like a Box of Chocolates: an Inspirational Novel. The woman in Texas accused of kidnapping her granddaughter with the assistance of two other men is being charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault, according to ksat.com.  Reports say tha Maria Garcit broke into the apartment where her granddaughter and her ex daughter-in-law are living at and demanded to take the 3 yr. old little girl. Apparently the parents of the little girl are involved in a very chaotic custody battle, and for that reason Maria Garcia thought that the easiest way to win this custody battle was by kidnapping her own granddaughter with two other armed men while holding an ice pick at the mother's stomach! The girl is currently under the custody of Child Protective Services. How far would you go to win a custody battle?

LeAnn Rimes 'Give' video really makes me proud of amazing talents such as her that keep supporting the homelessness awareness all over the world. As most of you know, homelessness is a strong topic being touched in the novel and I really thought it was important to spread the word on what LeAnn Rimes is doing to contribute to this alarming world wide issue! So here are the details: LeAnn Rimes opens up about the statistics on children who die young and those who are left homeless, according to aceshowbiz.com. There are currently 25,00 kids homeless kids in Chicago. LeAnn Rimes is currently living in Chicago, where her husband is currently filming the new tv series: The Playboy Club. 'Give' will be included in the single album Lady and Gentlemen, which will be released on September 27, 2011.

Relax! It's not what you think! The article that I found online today on miaminewtimes.com refers to a strip club that opens 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. And yes, it does happen to have a take-out window! But that's because Goldrush, a strip club in Miami offers you breakfast, lunch, and dinner! There is one quite interesting story about stripping in my novel, so stay stuned!

A 51 yr old Frenchman identified as Jean-Louis B was ordered to pay his ex wife $14K  for not satisfying her sexually during their two decade marriage!  The nycdailynews.com reported that this happened in Nice, and the judge was happy to award her the money because according to their legal code,  sexual relations "must"  form part of a marriage. Wowww... shocking...but true! No, do you think that husbands or wives should be forced to pay for not sexually satisfying their spouses?

Glee star Heather Morris has taken it to the next level! But you wouldn't be so surprised if you have already heard about famous photographer Tyler Shields, who is always set to let his imagination create projects that you probably have never seen before! Now, this photo shoot can be interpreted in so many ways! However, having seen the work of Tyler Shields before with other stars such as Lindsay Lohan, I've got to say that I'm sure he's got no intentions of offending any domestic violence victims. As a matter of fact, I personally think that this domestic violence photo shoot serves as an inspiration to domestic violence victims by delivering a very special message: being a domestic violence victim will not take your beauty or strength away! Tyler Shields is just random as he can be, I wouldn't misinterpret any of his projects, I think he's extremely  talented and I'm glad that he is getting recognized more for it every day! Amy Patterson,41, the Florida missing teacher in Lee County that is now gone without a trace had been physically abused in her past and according to reports, Amy Patterson's boyfriend (former husband) Daniel Proctor is now seen as a person of interest. Daniel Proctor had been arrested in the 1990's for physical abuse (subject touched in my novel) against  Amy Patterson. Lt. Ryan Bell from the the Lee County Sheriff’s Office has allegedly not revealed as to whether Amy Patterson had filed a restraining order against Daniel Proctor before her disappearance. Daniel Proctor has not been arrested yet in Lee County, but officials sure have a lot of questions to ask him. The sheriff's office believe that he is now back in the Southeast of Florida after reportedly leaving the town following Amy Patterson's disappearance.

Tonight's upside down walk  of now famous pole dancer Steven Retchless  on America's Got Talent  (AGT) was absolutely amazing! However, I still think that he could've done a much better job! The transitions were very smooth, his outfit was wonderful, and his general appearance was spectacular. Steven Retchless exited the stage by stating, "If you believe in your dreams, you can make them come true." Absolutely! Steven Retchless has definitely made it this far on AGT  because he has definitely created a new perspective: pole dancing is a lot more beautiful than we had seen it in years! Watch out for the release of the novel, which includes a very intense story that involves exotic dancing. Another step in creating a fresh perspective in the world of stripping.

Kem offered the free concert in Cass Park and reportedly thousands of attendees were there to see him and other singers too! That was a really extraordinary, kind, and inspiring from Kem.
